How to Connect Ninja Forms to for Outbound Calling

Our Zapier integration helps business owners save time by automating processes that have previously been manual. This guide will walk you through connecting Ninja Forms and via Zapier. Using this guide, you can request an outbound call from after a Ninja Forms form completion.


To use our Zapier integration to connect and Ninja Forms, you will need:

Request a Outbound Call from Ninja Forms

We created this premade template so that you can request virtual receptionists place an outbound call via Ninja Forms. When there is a new form that matches the Zapier trigger parameters, it will pass the associated contact information to for an outbound call to be made to that customer.


For this Zap to run smoothly, we suggest creating the following inside Ninja Forms:

  • A custom hidden field for "What if they don't answer?" to be used in the Zap action. This gives directions on what to do if the customer does not pick up the phone. Get more information on how to create hidden fields with Ninja Forms here.
  • A custom field for language to be used in the Zap action (if applicable).
  1. Click "Use this Zap" in the below template.

  2. Connect your and Ninja Forms accounts to your Zapier account by following the prompts.
    1. Connect More information can be found here.
    2. Connect Ninja Forms.
  3. Since you started with a template, many fields will already be populated. Customize the Zap to meet your business needs.
    1. We recommend adding the following customizations to the Action:
      1. Include directions for what the virtual receptionist should do on the call.
      2. Link the previously created "What if they don't answer?" custom field from Ninja Forms to the field in Zapier.
      3. Link the previously created "Language" custom field from Ninja Forms to the field in Zapier (if applicable).
      4. Select your preferred callback time (default is immediate, 24/7).
  4. Test the Zap.
  5. Name the Zap.
  6. Turn on the Zap.

How to Connect to Outreach Campaigns

If you subscribe to Outreach Campaigns, you can set up a Zap in Zapier to trigger a call for this separate service. In the "Choose app and events" step, instead of selecting "Call Someone (Virtual Receptionist)," you'll select "Call Someone (Outreach Campaign Only)." Follow the same steps as above. When mapping your fields, the default directions will not be editable, since will follow the directions for the campaign ID that you input. Follow the remaining steps to save the Zap and turn it on.
