Enabling Caller ID for Vonage
To ensure your Smith.ai receptionists have access to the caller's phone number, please enable your Caller ID in your Vonage account. Here is how:
- Access your Vonage Dashboard and click on the Admin portal.
- Select Extensions and click on the extension you would like to edit.
- Click Call Forwarding, and ensure Originating Caller ID is selected.
If you are forwarding your calls via the Call Group feature, you are able to follow these same steps as well.
