How to Connect to Office 365 or Outlook with Microsoft Bookings

Updated 2 years ago by Justin Maxwell

Your receptionists can book appointments for you on Microsoft Bookings. This is also the solution for booking appointments on your Office 365 Calendar.

We can book appointments on multiple calendars within a single account. For example, if you'd like your receptionists to book appointments for all of the partners at your law firm, we can do so — just send us each individual's Bookings link, along with any necessary directions for proper use.

Please note: Appointment booking is an add-on service for Starter, Basic, and Pro plans, and will incur an extra fee. Appointment booking is not currently available for Essential plans. View current pricing.

Setup is easy: If it's not already activated (it should be), activate it. Then follow these steps below.

Set up, create, and staff your appointment slots ("bookings")

Follow Microsoft's instructions here:

or here

When you’re done, select the “Continue” button. Your new Bookings site eventually appears.

  1. Copy the URL of your bookings page. It should look like this:
  2. Send this link to with the subject line, "Bookings link." Be sure to include any specific directions for using this calendar. Again, you may include multiple calendars in this email, just explain the correct ways to use them.
  3. That's it! We'll notify you via email once we're ready to start booking appointments on your calendar, typically within 1 business day.

Important: Please adjust your time zone settings in Bookings! Otherwise, if a receptionist working in a different time zone books an appointment for you, it will appear at the wrong time on your calendar.

With this setup complete, your receptionists will now be able to view your availability in real time, and add appointments on your calendar. New appointment bookings will, as always, also be noted in your call summaries.
