How to forward calls from 800.com to Smith.ai

The following instructions will walk you through how to forward calls from chosen numbers in your 800.com account to your Smith account.

  1. Log in to your Dashboard.
  2. Go to your Numbers on the left-hand side, and then identify the number you'd like to forward with Smith.ai. Click on the number to access the settings.
  3. Click Manage, then scroll down to the Call Routing section.
  4. Now, select Routing Method. If you want calls to ring you first and roll over to Smith if there is no answer, you will want to use Sequential ringing. If you would like all of your calls to go directly to Smith, the Standard method will work.
  5. Next, you can input the Smith.ai numbers you want to send your calls to under Send All Calls To. You can also set the method of rings.
  6. Set the Caller ID to Caller's Number.
  7. Additionally, toggle off the setting for Prevent Voicemail From Answering Forwarded Calls, so it does not interfere with the routing process.
  8. That is it! The site will auto-save your changes, and you can then test your line to ensure it is forwarding properly.

Your Smith.ai number is now set up as the forwarding destination for this number. Smith.ai will ensure your calls are always professionally handled, improving the responsiveness and reputation of your business.
