How to forward calls from 800.com to Smith.ai

The following instructions will walk you through how to forward your calls from your number in your 800.com account to your Smith account.

  1. Log in to your Dashboard.
  2. Go to your Numbers on the left-hand side, and then click on the number you want to forward to access the settings.
  3. Next, you can input the numbers you want to send your calls to, and also set the method of rings. If you want calls to ring you first, and roll over to Smith if there is no answer, you will want to use Sequential ringing. If you would like all of your call to directly go to Smith, the Standard method will work.
  4. Place your Smith number under Send All Calls To, and set the Caller ID to Caller's number. Additionally, toggle off the setting for preventing voicemail from answering forwarded calls, so it does not interfere with the routing process.
  5. That is it! The site will auto-save your changes, and you can then test your line to ensure it is forwarding properly.
