How to Forward Calls From Ruby to Smith.ai

If you've ported your number from Ruby, but are still waiting for the port to process, Smith.ai can still answer your calls — simply forward your calls from Ruby to Smith.ai. Here's how to set up call forwarding from Ruby to Smith.ai.

How to Forward Calls From Ruby to Smith.ai

From Ruby's App

  1. Login to the app.
  2. Click on the 3 dots in the top-right corner.
  3. Go to "Setting" to access "Call-Forwarding".
  4. Choose your existing business phone number or click "Custom" from the drop down menu. Then, enter your Smith.ai phone number in the "Enter a number field." Uncheck the "if no answer, forward to Ruby" checkbox. Then click save. 

From Ruby's Web Portal

  1. Log into your Ruby account at https://my.ruby.com/login.
  2. Click on "Account", then "Settings" from the menu on the left.
  3. Toggle Call-Forwarding On. Choose your existing business phone number or click "Custom" from the drop down menu. Then, enter your Smith.ai phone number in the "Enter a number field." Uncheck the "if no answer, forward to Ruby" checkbox. Then click save.
