How the Housecall Pro + Smith.ai integration works

With this integration, after every call, your Virtual Receptionists will:

  • Create a new customer if one does not exist.
  • Add the call details, and summary notes in the notes section of a customer profile.

How to connect your Housecall Pro account to Smith.ai

Before connecting your Housecall Pro account to Smith.ai, you’ll need to collect your API Key from Housecall Pro. 

  • To find your API Key in your Housecall Pro portal, see the section labeled "Generating and Managing Your API Key" on this page. 

Once you have your API Key, you’re now ready to connect it to your Smith.ai Virtual Receptionist account.

  1. Go to your Smith.ai Dashboard and select the “Integrations” tab.
  2. Select Housecall Pro to begin the integration process.
  3. Input your API Key in the form.
  4. Click the "Connect Housecall Pro" button.

That’s it! Once you’ve completed the last step, you'll see a confirmation and the integration between your Smith.ai account and Housecall Pro will be live!
