Initiate a Outreach Campaign Call with Zapier

Connect any app on Zapier to’s Outreach Campaigns. Then, our agents will call anytime the Zap triggers — following your Outreach Campaign call cadence and messaging.

Get your information ready from

  1. Get your API Key from and keep it handy. It should look like a bunch of numbers and letters.
  2. Get your Campaign ID. You can find it by going to, selecting the correct campaign, then copying it from the URL, like so:
    Keep that handy too! We'll use it soon.

Create a new zap

"Create Zap" in the Zapier interface.

Establish your trigger

For now, you're responsible for this part. We assume going into Zapier that you know how to use Zapier, and you have a trigger that provides the necessary information:

  • Name
  • Phone Number
  • Email address (optional)

This could be a web form that sends data to Zapier, a Typeform/Surveymonkey form, Google Sheet, Email parser, or even your own API posting to an endpoint. All said, we assume that for this step you have something that can provide that info. If you don't, let's stop here. Please reach out to our tech team to see if we can help.

For this example, we'll use New Spreadsheet Row by Google Sheets.

Continue creating your trigger by selecting your Account for the app previously chosen and connecting the neccessary fields to set up the trigger.

Add the Call Someone Action

Choose as the App.

Choose Call Someone (Outreach Campaign) as the action. Your screen should look like the below screenshot. Press Continue.

Choose Your account. If you have not yet connected your account to Zapier, you will be prompted to do so.

Press Continue.

Fill out the required fields:

  • Campaign ID (required)
  • First Name (required)
  • Last Name (required)
  • Phone Number (required)
  • Email Address

Rename your Zap if you want to be organized

Test & continue

It should work! If it does, you'll see the call appear (reload the page) on your outbound call queue (click through to the correct campaign)

If it doesn't:

  • Try entering data in manually instead of using variables from Step 1. Maybe one of your variables is malformed or missing
  • Make sure there are no extra spaces or slashes in any field you've entered
  • Confirm you are using the correct API Key and Campaign ID
