Connect Freshsales to Using Make

Our Make integration helps business owners save time by automating processes that are typically done manually.

What is Make?

Make is a leading visual platform for anyone to design, build, and automate anything — from simple tasks to complex workflows — in minutes. With Make, you can send information between and thousands of apps. It’s fast and easy to use, visually intuitive, and requires zero coding expertise.

This guide will walk you through how to connect Freshsales and via Make.

In doing so, new callers handled by virtual receptionists will be automatically added to your Freshsales account.


To use our Make integration to send call summaries to Freshsales, you will need

  • A Make account
  • A account
  • Your API key
  • A Freshsales account

How to Connect to Freshsales using Make

  1. From the Make dashboard, click Create a new scenario.
  2. Click the plus sign. Search and select
  3. Then select the New Calls Trigger.
  4. Next, create a connection to
    1. If you do not already have one, you'll click the "Create a Connection" button. In this example, we've selected the "New Calls" trigger and are connecting to it. Continue to step 5.
    2. If you already have a connection, click the "Add" button. Continue to step 5.
    3. To create a connection, name your connection and paste your API key.
    4. Click Save.
      You can optionally add a filter here to only send New leads.
  5. Next, you'll add another module to create a lead in Freshsales.
    1. Hover next to the module already added and press the plus sign to add another module.
    2. Search Freshsales and select it from the list.
    3. Select Create a Lead from the list of available actions and triggers.
      1. Match the fields of your Freshsales module to that of the caller in the trigger.
  6. Once you're finished mapping data to the Freshsales module, click "OK".
  7. Turn on the scenario.

Your scenario should look like this:

All new leads that call your number will now be created as new leads in Freshsales.
