How to Connect Your Lexicata Account to Chat

Now, we can immediately pass contact information and transcripts from chats into your CRM and client intake software. It's never been easier to keep track of and communicate with new leads and existing clients who connected with you online.

How it works

When you integrate your Chat account with your Lexicata account, the web visitor's contact information and their chat transcript is added to your Lexicata Inbox as a new lead.

From there you can associate the chat with your case matter or a contact. You can add the web visitor to your contact list, complete a quick intake, or more.

How to connect your Lexicata account to Chat

(The directions below assume you have an active Lexicata account. If you don't have one, go get one, and then return to these directions!)

1. Once you have a Chat account, log in at and go to

2. Click on Lexicata.

3. Enter the Lexicata Inbox token in the box labeled "API Token," which can be found on (you will need to log in to your Lexicata account to view this page).

4. Click "Connect."

5. Review the add-on fee (at the time of writing, $.50/chat) and click "Add to plan" to accept the fee and continue with the integration.

That's it! Once your account is successfully connected to Chat, you'll see a popup notification confirming that your accounts were linked successfully.

And you will now see Lexicata listed under the "Connected" category within the Integrations menu. You can connect or disconnect integrations at any time.
