Understanding Your Daily Call Summary

Crystal Field Updated by Crystal Field

Everyday at 6:30pm PST, we will email you a "Daily Call Summary." Contained in this email is every call we received for your business, including all sales, spam, & wrong number calls, for your reference.

There is no way to disable this feature; a daily summary is sent to every active account. If you would like this to go to more than one person, please see Smith.ai Call Summary and Email Destination Options

Call summaries are categorized in order by priority: High, Normal, Low, & Spam. Every header will include the total number of calls, under that disposition for the day. Every summary will have the client status and contact information, as well as the option to block the caller.

High Priority Calls

These are the calls dispositioned as "urgent." Our general rule of thumb is anything that needs action or to be seen within two hours should be dispositioned as urgent. Some clients have asked that specific callers or categories of callers also be identified as urgent. We can accommodate your requests, just let us know if you have special criteria you consider urgent.

Normal Priority Calls

These are calls dispositioned as "normal". This may include client calls, opposing counsel or court staff or calls from your doctor or spouse. The majority of your calls will fall into this category. On occasion, you may see a sales call fall into this category as well, but rest assured, you won't be charged if you see the words, "Smith.ai blocks all sales calls for you as a courtesy. If you’d like to unblock this number, please use the link in your daily call summary."

If at any time a sales/spam call slips through unnoticed, please click the hyperlink "Block this caller" to ensure that the caller is unable to reach our team again.

Low Priority Calls

These are the calls dispositioned as "low" and generally do not require follow-up or action from you. Calls in which our receptionists were able to relay the needed information or answer the questions accordingly; as well as any test calls that have been performed on your line. Sales calls will almost always fall into this category. Again, please remember, you won't be charged if you see the words, "Smith.ai blocks all sales calls for you as a courtesy. If you’d like to unblock this number, please use the link in your daily call summary."

Spam Calls

These are calls dispositioned as "spam." Calls that our team has identified as legitimate spam, verified on 800notes.com, automated sales calls, robocalls, and wrong number calls. You are NOT charged for ANY call that is listed under this category. These summaries are simply for your reference. There is not a "Block this caller" option on spam calls as we have already blocked the call on your behalf.

Please note that the priority is based on the disposition selected at the time the call is placed. You may see sales calls, that you are not charged for, under the "normal" or "low" priority.
