Our Zapier integration helps business owners save tons of time by automating processes that have previously been manual. This guide will walk you through connecting and ClickFunnels 2.0 via Zapier. This guide will cover:

Automatically Add Leads From ClickFunnels 2.0 to for Outbound Calling


To use our Zapier integration to connect and ClickFunnels 2.0, you will need:

  • Zapier account
  • A account
  • Your API key
  • A ClickFunnels 2.0 account
  • An Existing Funnel
  • Check to make sure that your URL is hosted by an external source. URLs hosted by ClickFunnels will not work.

How to

Unfortunately, Clickfunnels 2.0 doesn't have a direct Zapier integration (yet), so we'll be using Webhooks by Zapier for this solution.

Settings up the Zapier Webhook Trigger
  1. Log into Zapier.
  2. Click "Create Zap" in the upper left corner.
  3. Name your Zap. An example could be "Connect ClickFunnels to"
  4. In the App event search bar, type in "Webhooks" and select "Webhooks by Zapier" from the drop-down.
  5. For the trigger event, choose "Catch Hook" and press Continue.
  6. Leave blank the field titled "Pick off a Child Key." Just click Continue.
  7. Your webhook URL will be produced. Copy that webhook URL.
  8. Open a new browser window tab and navigate to your ClickFunnels dashboard. IMPORTANT: Do not close the Zapier window or tab.
  9. Click on Settings.
  10. Click on Webhooks.
  11. Add a new endpoint. Give the webhook endpoint a name, enter the Zapier webhook URL that you copied in step 7, and choose the event type "form_submission.created."
  12. Go back to the Zapier window or browser and click on "Test trigger."
  13. The test should pull in recent lead information. Verify the information. Then click "Continue."
Formatting the Data (Optional)
  1. If your form does not have first and last names broken out into separate fields, you will need to add an Action titled "Formatted by Zapier." (This will allow you to separate the first and last name of your ClickFunnel lead, so the information is sent to in the right format.)
  2. For the event, select "Text." Then click "Continue."
  3. Under the Transform field, select "Split Text."
    1. Under the Input field, select "Name."
    2. Under the Separator field, type [:space:].
    3. Under the Segment Index field, select "All (as Separate Fields)."
    4. Click the "Continue" button to move forward.
  4. Verify the names have been split successfully.
  5. Click "Continue" again.
Setting up the Zapier Action (Sending the request to
  1. Click Action. In the App event search bar, type in "" Click the option with the orange logo.
  2. For the trigger Event, click "Call Someone (Virtual Receptionist)."
  3. Connect your Zapier account to your account.
    1. You'll need to add your API key when prompted. You can get your API key in your Call Dashboard under Integrations. Click here for further instructions on how to connect to Zapier.
  4. Select "Yes, Continue" after inserting your API Key.
  5. Under Set up action, map your contact fields by pairing data with what is being sent from the webhook by ClickFunnels.
    1. In the "What should we do?" required field, include instructions for the receptionists who will be making the call. You can simply write "Follow instructions in account" if you want to follow default directions.
    2. In the "What if they don't answer" field, include instructions for the receptionists to follow if the customer doesn't pick up the phone. You can simply write "Follow instructions in account" if you want to follow default directions.
    3. Complete the final required field "When would you like us to call back?" This can be based on your default settings, or you can choose the option for 24/7 (i.e. whatever time the lead comes through).
  6. Once you finish mapping your fields, select "Continue."
  7. In the "Test action" section, select "Skip test." (That will avoid from calling this test lead!)
  8. Once you have confirmed all of the Zap details, publish your Zap and turn it on.
