How to Handle After-Hours Calls
Once your main menu is configured, you can modify it for daytime hours only, and create a new schedule for evenings and weekends. Just add a new schedule for those times, and set up the call path.
This can be as simple as routing calls to a new voicemail greeting where you:
- State that the caller has reached your business after hours, and
- Request basic information for a call-back, such as name, phone number, and reason for the call.
Remember that if you are uploading a voicemail greeting, it must be in MP3 format.
