How to Connect Assembly Neos to Smith.ai

How the Assembly Neos + Smith.ai integration works

When you connect Smith.ai with Neos, all calls handled by Smith.ai’s receptionists will appear in your Neos case management platform. With this integration, after every call, Smith.ai will:

  • Create a new lead for callers that don’t exist in your Neos account
  • Add a phone call to Neos with the duration, time and date, and call details (including a link to the call recording and transcript, if applicable) assigned to the appropriate case

How to connect your Assembly Neos account to Smith.ai

Prerequisites
  • A Smith.ai Virtual Receptionist account
  • A Neos account
  • Your Neos Company ID
Instructions

If you’re already a Neos user, getting started is simple.

  1. Log into your Assembly Neos portal.
  2. Click on Settings.
  3. Click on Integrations.
  4. Find and click on Smith.ai from the integration list.
  5. Choose the email address to connect from the drop-down and click Activate.
  6. Go to your Smith.ai virtual receptionist dashboard.
  7. Click on “Integrations” from the menu.
  8. Select Assembly Neos to begin the integration process.
  9. Complete the required form with your Assembly Neos Company ID
  10. Click the Connect Assembly Neos button.
    1. If your credentials are invalid, you'll see an error like the screenshot below. Please confirm your Company ID.
  11. That’s it! Once you’ve completed the last step, you'll see a confirmation, and the integration between your Smith.ai account and Assembly Neos will be live!
